Carluke Active Travel Study

South Lanarkshire Council wants walking and cycling to be the natural choice for people to make for their local journeys.  We are currently undertaking a study focussing on Carluke, to understand how local people travel, and to hear ideas for what would make walking and cycling in the area more convenient and attractive.

This survey, which shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to complete, will help us gather this information.  Once you have submitted your responses, you will be directed to our online Placecheck map, where you can leave location-specific comments on issues you may have experienced and ideas for improvements.  A quick registration process is required to be able to leave feedback on the map.

We will use the responses you provide to develop a range of options for improvement, and then we will be seeking people’s views on these options during April/May 2020.

Please be assured that all data collected will be anonymised and treated confidentially by the project team (South Lanarkshire Council, and transport consultants SYSTRA Ltd, who have been commissioned to undertake this study).

The survey will be open until
27 March 2020.
