Call it Out

Do you have concerns about personal safety? If so, "Call it out", so we can help.

No woman or girl should ever feel intimidated, harassed, or unsafe.

That’s why we’re launching this survey – to enable women and girls in our community to have their say on their personal experiences and to tell us how safe they feel.

We want to know what you think the police and our partners could do better, and also want to ensure that anyone who needs help and support knows how to access it.

We will use the results of this survey to tackle any safety concerns by working in partnership with: The Office of the Durham Police, Crime and Victims’ Commissioner; Durham County Council; and Darlington Borough Council.

We need to ensure we are doing the best we can to provide help and support to victims and survivors. With a better understanding, we will be able to target a more effective response and make change where it is needed.

Please note that whilst we are asking you to tell us about your experiences, this survey is not a crime reporting mechanism. If you would like to report a crime please call Durham Constabulary on 101 or 999 in an emergency.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this important survey.
