We are inviting people to participate in a face to face usability study concerning a new injection device for use by patients who have been diagnosed with Short bowel syndrome (SBS) and certain Gastrointestinal (GI) conditions.
We are asking patients or people who provide care to patients to participate in an interview where you will be asked to evaluate a new type of injection system. This is NOT a medical or clinical study and you will NOT be taking a drug or administering a drug to yourself or any other person. You will be asked to handle an injector pen and a clean needle. You will be using an injection pad to simulate injecting into yourself or another person.
You will either attend 1 session of 2 hours, or 2 sessions totaling 3 hours, depending on your condition. You will be paid an honorarium by way of thanks for your participation.
